Our research interests are laser material processing, as a new processing tool. We are using wide range of lasers from picosecond laser to high power laser in kW class, in which laser input energy is controlled from ultrashort to long-term time period.
We are investigating the control method of laser beam, highly functional laser material processing, and we are also discussing material properties, from mechanical macroscopic properties to microscopic structural properties.
